Meet Our Instructors

Mitch is a 2003 graduate of Highland High School. While playing a tremendous outfield for the Bulldogs, Mitch garnered MVC All-Conference and was a St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Belleville News Democrat all area player as well. After graduation, Mitch attended Maryville University, NCAA Division II, where he was an outfield in which he received all conference honors his sophomore and senior season. He is the career leader in RBI’s, runs scored, and home runs. Currently, Mitch is an assistant coach at Maryville University where he handles all outfield and hitting responsibilities.

Tyler, a Centralia, IL native is a graduate of McKendree University where he was the pitching closer for the Bearcats in which he garnered American Midwest All-Conference honors. Following his playing career he was a student-assistant coach with McKendree University for one season. After his time at McKendree, Tyler managed the American Junior Legion program in Centralia for three seasons, and then lead the O’Fallon High School Panthers freshman team for three seasons as well, including their Southwest League team. While coaching for the Panthers, Tyler also provided private/individual lessons in both hitting and pitching. Lastly, for the last three years, he has been a personal instructor for Back2 Back.

2013 Highland High School graduate where he was 3-year varsity baseball player. Jake pitched collegiately at Eastern Illinois University from 2014-18 and is currently pitching in the Seattle Mariners organization.
